Chapter Photo Gallery

We want pictures of El Dorado County plants, or other areas of special interest, preferably natives, but it is also important to show what the invasives look like. Don't limit yourself to portraits of flowers; try to get the whole plant too. Plants don't even have to be in flower; a good landscape shot will help show habitat for the area.

How to Submit a Photo:

Make sure you own the photograph or have permission to use it.
Get the photo to Steve.
Crop, brighten, sharpen, and otherwise enhance it so that the picture best conveys your subject. If you need a way to
Include the photographer's name, the date the picture was taken, and the place it was taken.
Include the name of the subject: Genus and species would be nice.
Include a caption if you would like one.
Stay to no more than 500 pixels tall by no more than 800 pixels wide. Check WebResizer.
