Butterflies

In Spring and on through the return of cold weather, the easiest wildlife to watch for would be butterflies! Every habitat you can visit, from chaparral to the high elevation meadows will provide you with a chance to observe butterflies. Check this list of butterflies to see what species you should be able to find (with no guarantees, mind you, Patience and luck have a lot to do with marking your list with many of the species listed!
